If the numbers have the same sign the answer is POSITIVE.
If the numbers have different signs the answer is NEGATIVE.

Rules for Multiplying Integers

The product of two integers with the same sign is found by multiplying their absolute values. The product is positive.

The product of two integers with different signs is found by multiplying their absolute values. The product is negative.

The product of 0 and any integer is 0.

Multiply_and_Divide_Integers

When multiplying and dividing integers, every two negative signs cancel each other out.

If you have an even number of negative signs, your answer is positive.

If you have an odd number of negative signs, your answer is negative.
